About Sun Cuisines
"Kevin & Stephanie Lin Burmese businessman & Master Sushi Chef Kevin Lin and his wife Stephanie, came to the United States in July 1996 after studying authentic Asian cuisine and food trade in Tokyo, Japan. Landing first in Erie, PA, the Lins brought healthy, tasty, and quality foods to customers while buying and operating a franchise store. By 1997 they owned three franchises and were developing fresh new ideas and Asian recipes. Within two years, and while relocating to Buffalo, the Lins introduced sushi to Western New York. As ambitious and hardworking entrepreneurs interested in bringing the best Asian cuisine to Buffalonians, the Lins opened Sun Food Market at 1989 Niagara Street, Buffalo, in 2010. Friends and I were going to come for dinner. I checked out the menu earlier in the day. So many things looked great that I decided to go for lunch on the same day! The six different things I had for lunch and dinner combined were outstanding! So fresh. The individual flavors lingered. The sushi chef is so talented and humble. Our waiter was very kind, accommodating and gracious. The food was like a party in your mouth. DELISHπ

Excellent experience. Good was very good and service was fast and helpful for someone who has never been to a Burmese restaurant before. I had the Black Rice Coconut Shrimp Roll to start. It was awesome. Then I had a very good House Salad. Comes with thinly sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, chunks of avocado, ginger dressing, & mixed greens. For the main course I went with the Burmese Flat Noodles with Veggies. It is spicy, which I love. Very tasty. Finished the meal with Taro Custard and Red Bean Ice Cream. I would definitely eat here again.

I read this somewhere ad HOPE it is true!!!!!! I wasn't there.... but I am reminded that we exemplify our best when take care of our neighbor. "So, my husband told our son, who has autism, to go inside and grab a take-out menu from Sun Restaurant. They even practiced it in the car beforehand. But then, my son went inside, and my husband waitedβ¦and waitedβ¦and waited. After a while, my husband decided to go check on him. What he found was that our son was sitting at a table, eating! Apparently, he had walked up to the hostess and said, βIβm hungry.β She then sat him down and asked him what he wanted to eat. He simply said, βbeef.β The hostess quickly told the cooks, βHurry, this boy is very hungry,β and they made him a beef curry with rice. She was so impressed by how sweet he was that she decided to let him eat for free. If you ever find yourself at Sun Restaurant in Williamsville, please thank them for me. Their kindness and the way they treated my son like family means so much to us." I rewarded this restaurant with a little patronage because of this story and now have yet another must-stop when I'm rolling through New York. Great experience!!!!

I canβt believe it has taken me this long to find this gem of a restaurant. I had a takeout order yesterday with chicken shrimp noodles. lime and peanuts. It was absolutely awesome. The dining room is very warm and inviting and super clean. Chef and owner Kevin whom I met really knows what he is doing. Located on the heart of Williamsville- if you havenβt been there yet/ youβre missing out. I was so impressed that Iβm taking a group of 6 there for dinner this weekend.

This is the first time I went to a Burmese restaurant, so we were wondering if the food would suit our palates. I'm happy to say we loved everything. The place was almost empty when we went, so the service was pretty quick though there was only 1 guy around. We had the vegetarian version of Tom Yum soup, dumplings, spring rolls, the Burmese flat noodles - the spring rolls were a little oily, but everything was very tasty. We also had the Mango rolls and the Garden avocado roll - though they come wrapped in a mango wrap, they aren't very sweet and they were delicious. Would recommend π―
